Help!
I am reading a number of books on my Kindle. As a result I no longer have page numnbers and, more importantly, I have no total number of pages. The ability to vary the size of the font (and in my case use a big one to make it easier on my double vision problem) means the number of 'pages' can vary enormously - even if one could count them. I wanted to add up my number of pages read in 2012 and future years but how to do it. Any suggestions?

Proper comments are always welcome but those that simply advertise products or an author's own books will not make it past comment moderation. Unfortunately someone is constantly placing stupid comments on this blog so I've had to put word verification back on and restrict comments to Google account holders.

When you download the kindle books can't you make a note of the number of pages then?
ReplyDeleteFor example

has
Format: Kindle Edition
File Size: 183 KB
Print Length: 162 pages
under Product Details.
Thank you Helen. I hadn't realised that - though unfortunately that only works for books downloaded as a single item and not as part of a collected works. At least it solves most of the problem.
ReplyDeleteAaah hadn't realised it didn't give the total pages for collected works. That's a pain.
