I know that the US rights are usually sold separately by the author. Perhaps, and this is only a guess on my part, they wait to see how succesful the book is over here so that they can get more for their US rights if it becomes a blockbuster.Scriptor Senexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17795521284516432520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339331498792801948.post-77680708322923487272009-01-24T20:05:00.000+00:002009-01-24T20:05:00.000+00:00I look forward to reading the book reviews on here...I look forward to reading the book reviews on here. And I doubt you can answer my question since I've asked authors themselves, but I'm going to give it a whirl anyway. Why is it that it takes Brit Lit books, like those written by Jane Moore, and Carole Matthews so long to reach the United States. There are so many books I'd love to be able to read but it takes so long for them to get to me and I'm always curious as to why. Cecelia Ahern books are no different, hard to find here in the U.S. Oh they come out here eventually but it just takes so darn long. Which brings me to my next question...Is there anywhere online where I can get them? Thanks!shortcakesmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06513219783039584162noreply@blogger.com
